Privacy policy, last updated 28 October 2026What Round Clock is
Round Clock is an interval timer for Tabata, HIIT, boxing rounds, EMOM, AMRAP, circuits, countdowns and a stopwatch. It is a web app, also packaged for Google Play and the Microsoft Store.
Data we collect
Without signing in: nothing that identifies you. The app sends anonymous counters (for example "a Tabata was started today"). A counter carries no account, device id, cookie or IP address; we store only the day, the event name and a number.
When you sign in with Google (required after the first day): we store the name, email address and profile picture Google gives us, a random session id, and a copy of your saved timers, cue settings and workout history so they can follow you to another device. We never see your Google password. We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising. The first day on a device works without signing in.
Data is stored on Cloudflare (D1 database, EU/US edge). You can delete your account and all synced data at any time from the Saved tab ("Delete account"), which removes everything immediately.
Data stored on your device
Your saved timers, cue settings and workout history are kept in local storage on your own device, and a copy is synced to your account once you sign in. Uninstalling the app or clearing site data removes them.
Permissions
- Vibration: used for interval cues when you turn vibration on.
- Keep screen awake: used so the clock stays visible during a workout.
- Speech: spoken cues use the voice built into your device. Nothing is recorded.
Network
The app loads from our server once and then works offline. Anonymous counters and sync requests go to our own server at roundclock.myclienta.com (round-clock.pages.dev also still answers). The only other third-party request is the display font from Google Fonts, cached after the first load. Google sign-in is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy. Google's handling of that request is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Children
The app has no chat and no purchases. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly keep accounts for anyone under 13.
Delete your account and data
In the app: tap your picture in the top-left corner, then Delete account, then tap again to confirm. Your account, your session and every synced timer and workout are removed from our server immediately. Anything stored only on your device stays there until you clear it or uninstall.
To delete only some data and keep the account: remove a saved timer with the × next to it, or use Clear history in the History tab. The synced copy on our server is updated straight away.
Can't open the app? Email [email protected] from the Google address you signed in with, and we delete everything within 7 days. Anonymous usage counts are not linked to you and are kept.
